The Vedic Tradition

Vedic Meditation comes from an ancient, body of knowledge known as 'The Veda' preserved in India for over five thousand years by oral tradition, which also gave us the knowledge of yoga and Ayurveda (the science of health and longevity). The knowledge and technique are not exclusively Indian - just like yoga, it is universal in nature.

The teaching and the technique take a practical and proven approach, designed for those with busy, engaged and dynamic lives. It is not monastic in nature.

The teaching has been passed through an unbroken line of teachers to this day.  The highest authority in the tradition currently is the Mahamandaleshwar, Swami Kailashanand Brahmachari, by whom Georgia was personally graduated and given his endorsement to teach in the name of this ancient tradition.
